Turn a PowerPoint into a narrated eLearning course
Upload a presentation with speaker notes. EchoLearn360 narrates every slide with a natural voice and builds a ready-to-use course with a player, progress bar and navigation – as a SCORM 1.2 package for your LMS or hosted in the Academy.
How it works
- Upload your presentation. Use a .pptx (or .ppt) file with a clear title on every slide and speaker notes on each slide – the notes become the narration.
- Pick a voice and quality. Choose a US, UK or Indian English voice (or Japanese), set the course and module title and the image quality.
- EchoLearn360 builds the course. Each slide is captured as a picture, the notes are turned into speech and combined into a video per slide. This can take a few minutes for a long deck, and you can ask for an email when it is ready.
- Customize, then share. Change the player colours, titles and logo, reorder or hide topics, then download the ZIP or publish the course to the Academy.
What you get
A complete player
Slide video, play/pause, previous/next, a progress bar and a left-hand navigation list built from your slide titles.
SCORM 1.2 package
A standard SCORM 1.2 ZIP with a manifest and tracking script. SCORM 1.2 is accepted by most LMSs, for example Moodle and Docebo.
Edit without redoing it
Rename topics, change colours, light or dark mode and the logo in a live editor – your original course is never overwritten.
Hosting included
Publish to the EchoLearn Academy to share the course with learners, set due dates, add a quiz and issue certificates.
Good to know
Slide animations and transitions are not included. Every slide is captured as a still picture, so build-ups, fly-ins and morphs do not play. Make sure each slide looks complete on its own.
- Presentations created in LibreOffice (Impress) convert most reliably. Decks from other tools can look different, especially with special fonts, SmartArt, 3D effects or embedded media. Check the first slides of your course and, if needed, save the deck from LibreOffice and try again.
- Slides without speaker notes get no narration, so add notes to every slide you want voiced.
- Your plan sets how many courses you can create each month (the Free plan includes 2). See pricing.
Who it is for
Trainers and L&D teams who already have slide decks, teachers turning lessons into self-paced modules, and course creators who want an LMS-ready package without a video editor. If you need to narrate slides inside the presentation itself, see the Batch Audio tools and the narration guide.
Questions about the eLearning Content Creator
Which file types are supported?
PowerPoint files in .pptx or .ppt format.
Can I upload the course to my own LMS?
Yes. Download the ZIP and import it as a SCORM 1.2 package. Check your LMS's import settings, because options such as completion rules differ between systems.
Can learners track their progress?
Yes. The package reports progress and completion through the SCORM 1.2 interface, and in the Academy progress is saved so learners can resume where they left off.
How long does a conversion take?
It depends on the number of slides and the length of the notes, typically a few minutes. You can tick "Email me when it's ready" and close the page.
