Privacy Policy

This policy explains what EchoLearn360 ("EchoLearn360") collects, why, who it is shared with and how long it is kept.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and a securely hashed password (we cannot read your password).
- Your content: the files and text you upload (PowerPoint, Word documents, text), the files we generate from them, and a history of what you created.
- Usage: counters of how many generations you have used on your plan, and technical logs (for example sign-in events with IP address) used for security and troubleshooting.
- Payments: when you pay, Razorpay collects your payment details. We receive and keep only the payment reference, amount, date and the email used at checkout.
- Academy: the courses you publish, who they are shared with, and learners' progress, scores, quiz results and certificates.
- Cookies and local storage: a sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in, and a few preferences stored in your browser (for example which "email me when ready" boxes you ticked). We do not use advertising cookies.
Why we use it
To provide the service you asked for, to keep it secure, to take payments, to send the emails described below, and to improve the product. We do not sell your personal data.
Who else handles your data
- Text-to-speech provider: the text you submit for audio, and the speaker notes of slides you convert, are sent to a third-party speech service that returns the audio.
- Razorpay processes payments.
- Email delivery provider sends the messages listed below.
- Hosting and network providers run the servers and the connection to them.
Emails we send
Sign-up and password codes, payment receipts, plan and usage notices, Academy enrolment/due-date/certificate messages, and "ready" messages when you ask for them. You choose the "ready" messages with a tick box on each tool.
How long we keep things
- Generated files (audio, course ZIPs, documents) are deleted automatically after 30 days. Courses you publish to the Academy stay there until you unpublish them.
- Account and billing records are kept while your account exists and as long as the law requires for payments.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or to close your account, through our contact form. You can clear your history inside the app at any time.
Security
Passwords are hashed, connections use HTTPS, and access to files requires you to be signed in. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Children
EchoLearn360 is not intended for children under 18.
